What is Resisting Gravity

The low-down: Resisting Gravity is band based in the
Annapolis valley of Nova Scotia, Canada, Pioneering the first,
self-named, "Fronk" music, which is a collabaration of funk,
rock, and folk influences. We've had many changes in members,
but have finally found some permanent ones. Those members include,
the Potter brothers (Jesse & Liam), Andy Kavanagh,
and Ben Taylor. We play mostly original songs with a few covers
here and there, and are in the process of writing many more songs,
together and apart from eachother. With the new concrete members
it's 3, 2, 1, liftoff for Resisting Gravity!

Meet The Band

Jesse Potter:Jesse, age 17, writes the majority of Resisting Gravity's songs, and has a love for all instruments. He sings
lead vocals, plays lead and rhythm guitar, and does website
design for the band. He has been working painstakingly on his
dreadlocks for 2 whole years now.
Liam Potter:Liam, age 10, plays lead and rhythm guitar,
with a spot of drums on the side, and a knack for back-up
vocals. He has a love for the Blues and the Gorillaz, and by
the way, don't let the long hair confuse you - Liam is a BOY!
Andy Kavanagh:Andy, Age 22, is the astounding percussionist
of Resisting-Gravity, also writing songs in which he plays
rhythm guitar and sings lead vocals. On top of all that,
he is drawing up one amazing piece of band art after another.
We're thrilled to have him on board.
Ben Taylor:Ben, Age 22, is the benevolent bass player of
Resisting Gravity. He loves the sound of beautiful ninth
chords played way up high on the bass, and writes a variety
of songs in weird tunings on acoustic guitars. Ben has only
recently joined Resisting Gravity, but I'm hoping he's in it
for the long run.
